Synopsis

As an unintended consequence of the prince's actions, the people of Anatolia embrace Yuri as the incarnation of the great war goddess Ishtar. Yuri is embroiled in a romantic tangle between Prince Kail and his half-sibling Zannanza. As Kail and Yuri fight against the armies of the Prince of Darkness, the fate of the Hittite empire hangs in the balance, as does Yuri's chance of ever returning home.
About The Author
Chie Shinohara is an Aquarius, born on February 15 in Kanagawa Prefecture. Her blook type is O, and her hobbies include driving and golf. Chie Shinohara's debut work, "Akai Densetsu" (Red Legend), was published in the winter issue of Coronet in 1981. The creator won the 32nd Shogakukan Manga Grand Prize for her masterpiece Yami no Purple Eye. Red River won the 46th Shogakukan Manga Award.
