Recurring Shipping Subscription Terms
Important: This is a recurring shipping service for sending eligible in-stock products being held for you by Pop Weasel. It is not a subscription to receive comics or other products.
1. What the Recurring Shipping Subscription covers
The Recurring Shipping Subscription pays for the regular shipment of eligible in-stock products being held for you by Pop Weasel.
You can choose weekly, fortnightly, or monthly shipping. Your selected payment method will be charged automatically at that frequency until you pause or cancel the subscription.
This subscription:
- Covers one eligible New Zealand shipment for each successfully processed subscription payment.
- Does not include the cost of any comics or other products.
- Does not automatically order, reserve, or subscribe you to any products.
- Does not guarantee that products will be in stock or ready for every scheduled shipment.
- Cannot be used for delivery outside New Zealand.
2. Automatic recurring payments
When you purchase this subscription, you authorise recurring payments at the weekly, fortnightly, or monthly frequency you select.
Your payment details are stored securely by our payment provider. Payments will continue automatically until you pause or cancel the subscription.
The subscription will not pause automatically if you have no products ready to ship or if you already have a banked shipment.
3. Products included in your shipment
Each shipment will contain eligible in-stock products assigned to your customer account and ready for dispatch when we prepare your scheduled shipment.
Products that have not arrived, have a future release date, are awaiting supplier fulfilment, or are otherwise not ready will remain on hold for a later shipment.
A subscription payment cannot be applied retrospectively to a shipment that has already been sent.
4. When no products are ready to ship
If you have no eligible in-stock products ready when a recurring payment is processed, one paid shipment will be banked on your account for future use.
A maximum of one shipment can be banked at a time.
Your subscription will continue to renew at your selected frequency and will not pause automatically.
If another payment is processed while you already have a banked shipment, the value of that additional payment will be returned to your Pop Weasel customer account as store credit. It will not create another banked shipment.
Store credit may be used towards eligible purchases from Pop Weasel but cannot be used to pay future recurring subscription charges. It cannot be redeemed for cash or transferred to another customer, except where otherwise required by New Zealand law.
When your banked shipment is used, a later unused shipping payment may be banked as your new banked shipment.
Pausing or cancelling your subscription stops future recurring payments. It does not remove an existing banked shipment or store credit already issued to your account.
Your banked shipment will be used automatically the next time you have eligible in-stock products ready to send.
If you do not want further recurring payments to be processed, you must pause or cancel your subscription before your next billing date.
5. Pausing, changing, or cancelling
You may pause, change, or cancel your Recurring Shipping Subscription before your next payment is processed. You can manage the subscription through your customer account or by using the subscription-management link in your confirmation emails.
Pausing or cancelling the subscription prevents future recurring payments. It does not reverse or refund a payment that has already been processed.
Please make any changes before the next billing date. We cannot guarantee that a payment can be stopped once processing has begun.
6. Refunds
Once a recurring payment has been processed, it is non-refundable for change of mind, failure to pause or cancel in time, or because you do not currently have eligible products ready to ship.
This does not limit any rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other applicable New Zealand law.
Our normal returns and refund policy applies separately to the products contained in each shipment.
7. New Zealand delivery only
The Recurring Shipping Subscription is available only for deliveries to eligible addresses within New Zealand.
It cannot be used for delivery to Australia or anywhere else outside New Zealand. International delivery must be arranged and paid for separately.
Additional charges may apply for rural delivery, oversized products, unusually large orders, multiple parcels, or delivery services not included in the selected plan. We will contact you if an additional payment is required.
8. Different from our Comic Subscription service
The Recurring Shipping Subscription and our Comic Subscription service are separate services.
Our Comic Subscription service determines which comics you have asked us to order or reserve for you. The Recurring Shipping Subscription only determines how frequently eligible in-stock products are shipped and how that shipping is paid for.
The Recurring Shipping Subscription does not:
- Add comics to your Comic Subscription.
- Reserve or order any comic issues.
- Cancel existing comic orders or subscriptions.
- Change which comics you receive.
Pausing or cancelling your Recurring Shipping Subscription does not pause or cancel your Comic Subscription, pre-orders, special orders, or reserved products. These must be managed separately.
9. Failed payments
If a recurring payment fails, our subscription provider may retry the payment. We may pause the shipping subscription until payment is successfully completed.
Products will remain on hold until payment succeeds or another shipping arrangement is made.
10. Delivery details
You are responsible for keeping your delivery address and contact details current.
Changes made after a shipment has been prepared may not apply to that shipment. Additional delivery costs caused by an incorrect or outdated address may be charged to you.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when reasonably necessary. Any material change affecting the price, frequency, or core service will be communicated before it applies to a future recurring payment.
