Tate Brombal is a comic book writer based in Toronto. His comic series HOUSE OF SLAUGHTER (BOOM! Studios) with artist Chris Shehan spun out of James Tynion IV & Werther Dell'Edera's hit SOMETHING IS KILLING THE CHILDREN and debuted in 2021. His Eisner-Nominated mini-series BARBALIEN- RED PLANET (Dark Horse Comics) alongside Eisner-Winning artist Gabriel Hernandez Walta also released in 2021 as a part of Jeff Lemire and Dean Ormston's BLACK HAMMER universe. Tate has many more TBA comics debuting in 2022 onward! He is a graduate of Ryerson University's Radio & Television Arts - Media Production program where he specialized in writing for the screen.
When he's not writing comics, Tate spends most days reading, drinking tea, and cooking feasts from an ever-growing collection of cookbooks.
